I’ve been feeling a lot more inspired and a little more courageous lately.

Tonight, I was having a conversation with a writer buddy of mine, and to make a long story short.. I have come up with a logline for a new webseries. I really love it. I don’t know how he drew it out of me, but it is actually inspired from a short story that I wrote when I was in elementary school.
It kind of combines aspects of a story I’ve always visualized and the kind of film I’ve always wanted to star in.

I’m totally on fire about it. I know exactly how I want it to look visually. How it is shot. I’ve got some other strange aspects to is also that are coming to my mind. It’s basically going to be an elaborate art project of sorts.

I gotta give it up to my buddy – he is really a brilliant writer and his passion for it is definitely contagious.
This whole thing was completely unplanned. I love it.

Actually, I’m really excited about all the projects I have in the works right now. They are all so independent from one another – unique. I’ve been linking up with a lot of very talented people from all walks of life. Everyone inspires me – We all have that fire within. It’s fun to be surrounded by so many people who are really tuned in – it becomes like a domino effect. Inspiration all around.
It is kind of funny because I kind of feel like I am turning into a kid again. I get inspired and excited and then I get all of these ideas…

I know that life is an organic experience and you just kinda gotta surf the waves and see where they take ya. You can head to Antarctica, but you might not be goin north the whole way.
All I can do is just follow my heart and go with what feels pure and good – like that eternal everlasting unconditional love.

Did I mention that I got a really awesome deal on a drumset with Remo drumheads?!!!! What!!

I love the hi-hat. It’s kind of beat up a little bit and has that chunky metallic garbage can sound to it that I love. It’s so amazing.
I really love this set. I may have to crash a few open mics or something LOL I’m so proud of it. It looks like a pile of shit but it sounds like a fucking diamond. I love it!

I’m creating a webseries, I’m acting in a webseries, and I’m in pre-production with another webseries. Right now. This rules. I am so happy.

a xenophobia. How will you eat yours?

If energy is neither created nor destroyed..
If radio waves can be heard in space for centuries after the broadcast..

Then that means that whatever emotions are flowing inside of us have the potential to create ripples in the pond of life for many many years… and that we are swimming in the reflection of our ancestors…

So what choices are you going to make today to add to this ocean?
What seeds are you going to plant?
Are you going to live in love or are you going to live in fear?

Sometimes it’s an easy choice to make and sometimes it takes courage.
Either way, the decision is yours. Make it a wise one.

I’m inspired and excited.

Tomorrow I night I have a group meeting with regards to an upcoming project. I also have some scripts to look over about another project.

Then Thursday is Day 1 for that new comedic webseries I got cast in. The one where I mentioned them creating a character for me.

I’m really excited. I have a really good feeling about everything.
I hope it all works out.

Also, on Monday, I had an audition for something that has the power to totally change my life. It was so much fun. The longer I was there, the more I just totally comfortable.. like I belonged. It was cool.
The people there were cool too. I just felt like we all just kind of vibed.
I felt more comfortable than I’ve ever really felt at an audition like that.
The people with the production company just seemed really chill.
I’m usually so nervous at these sorts of things.. I did get nervous maybe twice.. but it didn’t last very long. It was cool. The people there were nice and fun to be around.

This past Saturday was fun too. I’ve been getting freaky with my blog here. Adding stuff and then taking it away. I can’t remember if I blogged about this one.. but I got to meet a bunch of people who are linked up with that radio station that I dance with. So many cool, nice, down-to-earth human beings. It was good times.

Time really flies when you are surrounded by good company. Saturday I hung out from light until dark! Probably the only reason why I left was because I was a bit under a time crunch to buy a drum set.

I got a really awesome deal. I got this rickety looking set… Some of the hardware is a bit rusty.. but it totally plays like a GEM!! AND.. I noticed after I set it up.. that all of the drums have REMO HEADS!!! WHAT!!
The thing looks like a pile of garbage and sounds like a beauty!
And the hi-hats are all busted up and crunchy sounding. It’s awesome.
I love the set. It’s bad ass.
The guy who I bought it from was really nice. He had a ton of drums in his garage. He even helped me break the kit down and packed it in my car for me.
Man. Did I mention that the set has Remo drumheads?!?!?!?!?!!!!!
I got a chair and everything. I’m so happy. I’m so ready to jam now! Ha!

Hmm.. What else?
I’m just really excited. I have some really great ideas for all of the projects I’m involved with. I’m looking forward to sharing them with everybody. I have a good feeling about everything.

And I’m just really inspired too. I’m having a lot of fun sharing my little thoughts of random inspiration that I get. I always kind of come up with these ‘quotes for the day’.. It’s been really neat just sharing them with everybody online and seeing what other people come up with in response. It ends up being like a chain of inspiration. I love it! I just wanna eat it up!

Recently, I had some really great auditions..
I got a very cool email from one of the directors.. pretty much the casting was out of his hands, but he wants to work with me in the future.
So we’re linked up now online. I hope we do get to work together.
I really enjoyed auditioning for him. He actually directed me, which is pretty cool.
I did one take, with my own version.. and then he gave me some direction.. and the second take I did it his way.. and I could really feel it that time, like he made the right choice for me. I could feel it came out great.
It was pretty neat. I’m looking forward to seeing the audition tape.
He’s actually going to cut it and send me a copy! How cool is that?!
I wish everybody I auditioned for would do that! I would have soooooo many videos on YouTube right now. LOL

Oh, that’s another thing I am SO HAPPY ABOUT!! I got my YouTube account reinstated!! Thank you YouTube!! Woo! Awesome.
You see, I’ve been using the internet since the days when you had to dial up with a 2400 baud modem into a local BBS. I am a computer geek.
All this technology is very exciting to me. I just love playing around with all of it. And cameras and everything. It’s fun.
When it comes to copyright laws, it kind of irks me.
You see, my thing is that.. If I’m not making any money off of it, then why should it matter?
If I am playing someone else’s song, isn’t that kind of like cross promotion? Isn’t that a good thing? Shrug.
Needless to say, I’m really happy to have my YouTube account back, and I have been going through and deleting videos.
Although honestly, it is a little tough for me. I wish there was a way to pick specific videos and transfer them to a new account. That way I could remove them from that playlist but at least still have them up somewhere. That would be cool.
I have pieces from a 5 month road trip I was on. I’m a little bit sentimental about a lot of the videos I have up there, even though I haven’t really looked through most of them in a long time.. if even, at all. But still!!

So that’s it really.
Oh wait, one more thing.. That TV show I was supposed to do either last week or the week before got moved to.. not this Saturday, but the following Saturday. I’m pretty excited about that. It will be my first time rapping and dancing on a television. So that will be cool.
I will be rapping my new song and representing my radio station homies.
I’m looking forward to it. I think they might be streaming it online.
I gotta email the lady and ask where people can watch it. I gotta remember to do that.

Also, there is another television show that I made an appearance on last year some time. It looks as if I will be working on that again towards the end of next month. It’s a Spanish Television Show. It was a little bit confusing the first time. I’m bilingual, but the Spanish they spoke on there is different than the Spanish that I speak. LA Spanish is different than Miami Spanish. I can have a conversation out here with someone who doesn’t speak English.. I’ve had to do that before.. but on the TV show it’s different because it moves kind of fast. It was funny.
They dressed me up all sexy too, for that show, which was interesting.
Anyway, it was fun. I’m looking forward to being apart of one of their programs again next month. It was a neat experience the first time.

So anyway, that’s about it. Tomorrow is going to be a busy one for me… and I’m looking forward to it all. Should be fun

I just contacted Universal Music Group.

Honestly, I want to try to help the company out. I think I may be able to generate some income for them. I want to cut a deal.

I called up their corporate headquarters in Santa Monica, in an effort to speak with someone in their marketing department.

I spoke with a male operator, who passed me along to a female operator, who passed me back to the male operator, who hung up on me twice.
They both told me that they need a specific name in order to transfer me to someone other than the other operator.

Is this the truth?
How are they conducting business?

How can I get in touch with their Marketing Department?


So basically, here is my idea.
I currently have 3 videos up on YouTube which are under question by their company for copyright, which I will happily delete if requested.
But I thought to myself something interesting…
These videos have garnered over 5,000 views on their own… without any sort of promotion or advertising by me. It just kind of randomly happened.
What if I were to team up with UMG’s Marketing Department and utilize these videos as a means of promotion for the company?
Actually put some effort into doing some promoting of these videos.. put in the time and the energy.. to generate whatever numbers they may be looking at… because numbers to a company, essentially mean $$$, right?
And then to cut a deal with them. They can give me a percentage. Use whatever method they want, advertising whatever, and we can work together and generate some income for each other.
Makes sense right?
Anyway, it’s an idea that I thought it would be worth passing along to the marketing department. Maybe they would be interested if they read this blog. It’s worth a shot, I’d say.

Part of my motivation for success is my inherent want/need to inspire the world.. world peace and unity…

Something snapped in me today and it said “Why wait for success? Start now.”

The same voice that inspired me to move to LA repeated itself today and it said “What are you going to do? Are you going to follow your heart or are you going to follow your head?”

When you follow your heart you are heeding to your intuition and the end result is always love. It’s scary at first. It doesn’t logically add up. But over time it will make sense.

When you follow your head you are playing it safe. But that’s not what you really want.

Anything that has meant the most to you has always involved some sort of risk.
But really, what that risk is, is actually just letting go of that need for comfort and security.. it is willing to make yourself vulnerable.. to put what you stand for on the line, because if it means that much, it is worth it.

Go for it. Do it. Never look back – only look forward.
In the end, at least you gave it all you got.
