It has been a while since I blogged, seemingly.

I’m really excited about this new camera that I have and I am having a lot of fun making Video Blogs (Vlogs) about my life and experiences. I think that life is like a documentary and I want you all to see what I go through as an artist, because just like everybody else, it’s a unique experience.

Integrity is very important to me, in every aspect of my life.
Every choice I make needs to be for the right reasons and has to feel like it’s the right move. It has to feel good to me.
I make it a point to keep it real as best as I can, to be honest and up-front, and of course to have fun.

Everybody has their own path in this profession, and what may work for one may not for another.
A part of me wishes that I would have moved to Los Angeles a long time ago, but I am grateful to be here now, and I’m really excited about the future of everything in my life.

I’m loving this journey and I am having a blast documenting it here online for everybody to see.

Besides being an entertainer, I’m also somewhat of an internet/gadget geek. Ever since I was a kid and programmed a Lego Robot using the language BASIC on an Apple IIe desktop, computers have been a major part of my life.
Needless to say, I am throughly enjoying the convergence of Hollywood and the internet, and am getting more of a grasp on it every day. This has also been a lot of fun for me.

Just a couple of days ago I was broadcasting LIVE for a few hours online via my webcams at home, and had over 10,300 viewers throughout the course of the evening. It was awesome and so much fun. I tend to get a little bit silly over there… and do some “impromptu comedy”, if you will

I remember when I was a kid I watched this movie that had Fred Savage in it.. and he was working as a video game tester.. or he was in a video game tournament.. something like that.
I remember thinking to myself “Wow, I want to try that one day.”
This week, I am making that childhood dream come true, and for 3 days I am working as a video game tester.
I know this isn’t performance related, but I’m really excited about it.

On that note, my dream webseries is getting closer to its first shoot date. It’s actually loosely based on reoccurring childhood dreams that I used to have. I’m really excited about this and I love the script.
My friend/writer and I are both eager to get started, it’s just a matter of working out the timing. Hopefully we can work it out before June. I think that would make a most excellent birthday present – my very little own pilot
It’s my dream role as an actress. Pretty cool stuff.

Still in pre-production with the other comedy webseries and the latest word is that we are slated to begin shooting in May! Yay May! LOL

I love it. The more days that I am acting/shooting on a set, the happier I am.

I have a friend who is a really brilliant and busy cinematographer/photographer and is interested in doing a photo shoot with me. I have another friend who is a makeup artist.
I’m hoping we can all coordinate our schedules to do a shoot… I’ve been back and forth with the two of them the last month or so.
Hopefully we can get this shoot done by the end of May. I think that would be cool. I won’t give away too many details but I will say that you will see a side of me that you normally do not see

Anyway, that’s about all for now. I’m very excited, inspired, and happy about everything.. and just wanted to do a quick little written update to let you know what is going on. To keep you abreast

I’m excited.
I just got a brand new camera. It’s the newer version of the one that I’ve had for like the last 5 years or so. It’s basically just a simple point and shoot camera with video capabilities. I have a memory stick for it so that I can film longer vids with it.
But this new one shoots in HD and it looks pretty fabulous in comparison to the other camera.
I’m really excited about this and I think I am going to be going on a little bit of a ’shooting spree’ LOL
I’m locked and ready! Word.

I’ve been saying word a lot the last week or two. I don’t know why. It’s very catchy. Word.

Anyway, I’m really excited and inspired. Extremely.

Ciners just recently wrapped. There’s footage online. That’s pretty cool. I linked up the vid on all my status updates.

The sketch comedy webseries is moving forward as well. Talks of shooting are now looming on the horizon. Yay!

I just set up a photoshoot for later on this month, as well. I’m looking forward to that as well.
It should be fun.

Tuesday is a shoot for another project I auditioned for and got cast and got a role added for me! How cool is that? I’m pumped… and I think I’m going to be jamming out on the drums!
Word.

I’m also having a lot of fun exploring the Vlogging universe… and I’m really excited about my website.

Lots of fun stuff happening with acting, cameras, and internet – 3 things I love most!

I know it’s been a while since I’ve blogged, but it seems as if everything has been relatively the same up until this point. Ciners was shooting. The other webseries still having rehearsals/production meetings… and waiting on the good word for the mystery webseries…
(I’m super excited about shooting the mystery. It’s a dream role!)
But now that everything is moving forward and new things are popping up – I have some quality blog material, I’d say
Last week I had my first “official” booking as a drummer. That was awesome…
and then next week is my second. Word!

Now that I have this new camera and I can shoot videos again.. I’m ready to rock and roll.
I feel kind of like a little kid with this big piece of candy… I’m really tempted to eat it all right now but I can’t. I just gotta take a few bites at a time. This camera is quite fabulous.

So yeah, that’s about everything at the moment, in a nutshell.
I really think it’s totally awesome that I got my first and second official drummer gigs.. and I am loving getting cast in all of these entertaining projects!
The more shoot days I have, the happier I am It’s what’s in my heart and it’s what drives me.

It has been a while since I blogged and the 3 webseries shows that I am cast in are each moving progressively forward.

Ciners is currently at it’s peak, as we have been in the thick of shooting the last couple of weeks. The first episode is already up and I’m looking forward to seeing more. This has been such a fun project to be apart of. Our director really has a great vision for each episode and it’s clear when we are shooting. It’s been an impromptu collaborative process and I’m excited to see the final outcomes from the scenes I was doing… it’s actually somewhat of a mystery to me.
My character was kind of added into the project afterwards, so it’s been a really cool organic process, the whole thing.

The sketch comedy webseries is in the midst of rehearsals, and we should begin shooting soon. I’m really having fun with the various roles I’m exploring with here. This brings back a lot of memories of when I was in that sketch comedy group in Florida for 2 1/2 years. We would have weekly rehearsals and after a couple months of tweaking our scripts and getting everything tight, we started doing shows at the Improvs and at a comedy festival in Los Angeles.
It almost feels like I am stepping back into an old comfortable pair of shoes.
It’s the same sort of feeling that I got when I performed sketch comedy, except there is a camera right there. So that was fun. Whenever there is a camera in my face and I am doing something funny, I love to experiment with various expressions. Do it up a little bit.
Our last rehearsal was taped. It was a cool experience.

The untitled project will tentatively begin shooting early next month.
This is pretty much a collaborative figurative “baby” of mine and my writer friend of mine that I think I blogged about before.
We are both really excited about this project and I can tell we both really want to shoot it now. Due to time constraints though, we’re going to postpone it just a couple more weeks. Hopefully by the time April rolls around things will be good to go.
I’m really looking forward to working on this project.

Other than that, not much. I just redid this website with my own bare hands.
I was just ready for it to have a new look and I wanted to get it done quickly, so I just created the bubble letter words on Photoshop, slapped it up and linked it all up on Dreamweaver, moved some stuff around, and completed the task in about an hour or two.
This is just a preliminary redesign though. There are still a couple of other things that I am going to be adding onto here.

Oh yeah, I also have an audition next week for a new production. I should be getting sides tomorrow – I’m looking forward to finding out more as to what that’s all about.
I have been narrowing my submissions and have been pretty selective about the ones I send my headshot and resume to.
Although, I still submit to so many projects that it’s a bit difficult to keep track.
But I know for sure that something about this one caught my attention.. and I’m happy that one of the ones I picked to audition for “picked me back” for the audition.
That is a good sign so far

I’m excited. I have 3 webseries projects which are are all in the beginning phases of their life. It is kind of like having 3 babies. The youngest, the middle, and the oldest. But all in infancy.

One has begun shooting. We had a really great shoot today – It was such a fun scene. I really liked the flow of it. I did a behind-the-scenes broadcast thingamabobber online too, which was pretty cool.
I really like how freestyle that project is and we all have a really great and fun chemistry together.
I love that we can broadcast it worldwide for people to watch it all take place. It’s pretty cool. I am really having a lot of fun on this project… acting and doing the scenes. I wish I could just do that all day. That would be awesome.

I wrote this story in a journal when I was in elementary school.. and I recently met this young, brilliant writer… shared with him my idea.. he added his writer spice to it… and now we have another budding webseries, which incorporates the type of script I have always dreamed of being a part of. We had a read through tonight of the first episode. I like it.
This one is gonna be a guerrilla style shoot, and I think I might be able to get my hands dirty and play around with the camera a little bit – which I love. This one is going to be a raw, character driven, nitty gritty webseries.
It’s going to be awesome and fun. This writer guy is incredible!
I totally trust him with my vision. I just throw out a few ideas and he quickly translates it into script. It’s amazing.

Totally contrasting but both just 100% fucking fabulous – these 2 webseries shows. The first one unscripted/impromptu, professionally produced – with most ideas coming on the fly. The second one scripted, guerilla style – with most ideas coming in advance.. somewhat impromptu/somewhat prepped

Then we have the third one which is completely distinguished from the others. It is in a league of its own. We have had several production meetings, a table read tonight.. there has been paperwork.. We’ve been brainstorming a lot as a team.. it’s very much a group effort and the director in this one is doing his thing, but in a sense is kind of taking a back seat to allow others to kind of make some stuff their own.
It has been an interesting process. It has a very professional feeling to it, which I like. It also feels very fascinating to me, for some odd reason.
I’m excited about it though. I got some ideas tonight.. essentially we’ve developed a writing team together, that is basically what is going on..
I got some ideas to pep up the script a little bit tonight. I think before the next meeting I’d like to look everything over and come up with some stuff to hopefully add to the dialogue. That’ll be good – get a little writing exercise. Always fun.

So that’s about it really
I love all these shows though and I’m so excited to find out how they are all going to turn out.. What they are going to look like… Websites.. All that fun stuff. I think they are all going to be really awesome quality stuff to watch. I’m excited

I had an audition on Tuesday for an upcoming national television show. It was a little bit crazy. I ended up being there for 4 hours!
I hope they put me on the show!

That’s about all. Being a person who is passionate about computers, cameras, and performing – I am just so grateful that I am able to do all of this stuff right now.. and I am so excited about all the possibilities and opportunities which are around now that everyone else is catching on to the technology. It’s pretty awesome. I am totally loving it.

I’m looking forward to bringing all of my projects to the next level and I am excited to find out what exactly that means!!

PS. I currently have my drum set sitting in the kitchen. I have been sooo itching to jam. I really want to make some music again.
I know I have all this film stuff – I want music too! Then it will be balanced for me. I am just as passionate about making music as I am about the cinematic arts.
I really want to do a show again. Oh man, I am soooo craving to play live for an audience. It’s gonna happen again, gosh darnit!! I will make sure of that, gosh darnit!! LOL Hopefully soon!

I have a few projects in the works which have been keeping me pretty busy. Fun stuff – I’m really excited and am doing my best to add as much as I can to each one – to bring them all to the next level.

–QUICK RECAP–
This past weekend I rapped and did some comedy for a taping which took place at the Pasadena Community Access channel.

Tuesday I had an audition for a national television show.

Wednesday and Thursday night I have production meetings for two different webseries productions. I also have a script for the first episode of my personal webseries project.

Thursday is set as Shoot Day #2 for the other webseries that started the last week of January. I am planning on broadcasting our shoot LIVE online and will be making an announcement very soon.

Wow, what a fun filled week this will be. A lot of cool stuff in store and I am very excited – extremely enthusiastic, and totally inspired about it all!
Good times!

TOMORROW EVENING I HAVE A CALLBACK FOR A NATIONAL COMMMERCIAL!!
Oh man, I am SOOOO excited about this!! Ahhhhhh!!!
Honestly, it is kind of the opportunity of a lifetime for me, in so many ways.
Especially as an actor, because it is SAG.. so that means I will FINALLY be able to join the union – which will definitely help me in getting an agent – which will be totally awesome. Then at least I will be able to put my 20 year acting hobby to the test.
Needless to say, I am just so excited to have this opportunity right now in my life. I am so grateful.. and honestly, even though it is just a callback right now.. Just the simple fact that this casting company is providing this sort of chance for me.. this kind of opportunity.. I am just so so grateful right now for that. It’s just pretty cool… and I truly/totally appreciate it from the deepest depths of my heart.

In other news.. lol… after the callback I gotta hop in my car and head on over to the 2nd production meeting for a webseries that is in development.. This isn’t mine.. and this isn’t the one that I acted in last week.. this is the other one.. I’m pretty excited about this one.
I think I am going to pull out a script that I wrote for the sketch comedy group I was in when I lived in Florida.
For 2 1/2 years I performed at all the local improvs (and also at LACF in LA) with a local sketch comedy group in Florida. It was fun. We would rehearse once a week and after a few months was when we got into the swing of doing a bunch of shows. It was cool. Anyway, I wrote a sketch for the group, that of course I starred in. Hey, I wanted to be the star in something! LOL Anyway, the audiences really loved it. I always got a huge roar of laughter and people really seemed to enjoy the character I created for myself. There were several times after the show when people would come up to me and kid with me about it.
So, I have it here in my filing cabinet. Sitting in a folder somewhere.
I think I am going to bring it out tomorrow night and see what the director thinks and if he is interested in incorporating it into the series.
Or maybe I will print a new one out. It has got to be on my computer or on a harddrive somewhere.

Saturday is my premiere on the Pasadena Local Access Television.
I think I’ve blogged about it before and it was supposed to take place a couple of weeks ago. That was a mix up. It is happening on Saturday.
I will be performing my new rap song and doing some dancing. I’m looking forward to it – It will be fun.
Also, I think it is going to be broadcasting online. I need to email the lady and find out where exactly, so I can have all my peeps tune in.

Well, I guess that is all the updates for now.
I’m really excited about everything. I’m grateful.. and I’m happy.
I think that everything is going to turn out good.. and I’m looking forward to putting up some more fun stuff online.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. That other webseries, that one that we started shooting last week… There is a website (in case you don’t know).. that I broadcast live from.. usually from my bedroom.. I usually just pretty much open up my webcams, hang out, shoot the shit, and listen to some music. That’s about it really. Well, I am in communication with one of the people that work for the site.. thanks to a good old friend of mine.. and it looks as if I will be broadcasting a live show on there, which will be featured on the front page.
Basically, it will be a behind-the-scenes sorta thing. This new webseries, the director/producers have a very interesting vision for it.. which I am really excited about. There is going to be some cool developments with that.
But anyway, in the meantime what I will be doing is broadcasting.. on that website.. a LIVE “behind-the-scenes from Hollywood” sort of thing.
Because technically, that’s exactly what it is. It would give you a glimpse of our shoot… you can watch it as we tape/rehearse it… and.. it is shot right in the heart of Hollywood.. and it will be broadcast live on the internet.. so yeah, it is LIVE Behind the Scenes from Hollywood. LOL
But because it’s MY room – it is going to be completely raw and real. Just the way I like things to be.

So yeah, that’s about all for now. I’ll keep ya’ll posted with new developments as I get them.. huhuh that sounds very newscasterish doesn’t it?
But yeah I will keep you all abreast. uhuhuh that sounds very Beavis and Butthead.
Anyway, it has been a very busy week for me. I’m slightly delirious

I’ve been feeling a lot more inspired and a little more courageous lately.

Tonight, I was having a conversation with a writer buddy of mine, and to make a long story short.. I have come up with a logline for a new webseries. I really love it. I don’t know how he drew it out of me, but it is actually inspired from a short story that I wrote when I was in elementary school.
It kind of combines aspects of a story I’ve always visualized and the kind of film I’ve always wanted to star in.

I’m totally on fire about it. I know exactly how I want it to look visually. How it is shot. I’ve got some other strange aspects to is also that are coming to my mind. It’s basically going to be an elaborate art project of sorts.

I gotta give it up to my buddy – he is really a brilliant writer and his passion for it is definitely contagious.
This whole thing was completely unplanned. I love it.

Actually, I’m really excited about all the projects I have in the works right now. They are all so independent from one another – unique. I’ve been linking up with a lot of very talented people from all walks of life. Everyone inspires me – We all have that fire within. It’s fun to be surrounded by so many people who are really tuned in – it becomes like a domino effect. Inspiration all around.
It is kind of funny because I kind of feel like I am turning into a kid again. I get inspired and excited and then I get all of these ideas…

I know that life is an organic experience and you just kinda gotta surf the waves and see where they take ya. You can head to Antarctica, but you might not be goin north the whole way.
All I can do is just follow my heart and go with what feels pure and good – like that eternal everlasting unconditional love.

Did I mention that I got a really awesome deal on a drumset with Remo drumheads?!!!! What!!

I love the hi-hat. It’s kind of beat up a little bit and has that chunky metallic garbage can sound to it that I love. It’s so amazing.
I really love this set. I may have to crash a few open mics or something LOL I’m so proud of it. It looks like a pile of shit but it sounds like a fucking diamond. I love it!

I’m creating a webseries, I’m acting in a webseries, and I’m in pre-production with another webseries. Right now. This rules. I am so happy.
